The present paper describes an experience with an L2 Italian workshop which tried to combine the competency-based educational model, already established in school practice, with Balboni’s model of language teaching. Starting from the analysis of teachers’ and childrens’ needs, the autor develops an integrated, inclusive and formative course that involved both native speakers and non-native speakers of Italian.Downloads
