This paper shows the results of an action-research regarding a ludic approach to the didactics of Italian as a second language, by taking into account the needs of adult students with low levels of alphabetization in their mother tongue. It had been developed and proposed to the students the table-top boardgame La mia città [My city]. The game aims to help with reviewing and systematizing the lexical and grammatical information presented during a previous lecture and practising the four lan-guage skills. The results of the playtest a showed a good level of appreciation by the students and a very good engagement level.Downloads
