Abstract

This paper illustrates a language teaching experience in a migratory context at the CPIA Ct1. After a short introduction on immigration and the new Italian legislation in the area of education to migrants, the article analyzes the strengths and the critical points of the teaching process and describes some case studies. The article concludes with the proposal of a didactic unit, which takes into account the profile of the learners and their communication needs.
