Abstract

The paper documents the development of a preparatory program for the application of dependency grammar in primary school. The program, designed by a group of teachers, concerns the definition of conditions necessary for the application of dependency grammar in classroom activities. Curricular innovations, made necessary by the introduction of this new syntactic model, are discussed, and didactic activities on relevant topics are presented, such as the identification of verbs, syntagms, connectives, and the critical use of textbooks.
