Didactic potential of school literary awards: reflections and perspectives

School literary awards are an opportunity for teachers to discover hidden talents and, at the same time, to enhance excellences. Students may increase writing skills using correctly Italian language and extending their own vocabulary. This paper reviews the most popular writing contests in Italian high schools, analyses data obtained from the observations and suggests literary awards as good practise.Downloads
