Writing a summary: examination of the regulations and some reflections

The reform of the first written test of the first and second cycle state exams was followed by a lively debate that led to the rediscovery and reconsideration of the didactical value of the abstract and rewrites in the school curriculum. In the light of the most recent laws, the paper shows that the inspiring principles of the reform are in line with those of teaching by skills, which makes the rewriting process an irreplaceable tool.Downloads
